The Civil Process and Warrants functions of the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office are critical responsibilities that demand professionalism, accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

As Sheriff, I will work to modernize these operations, strengthen coordination with our courts and law-enforcement partners, and ensure that resources are focused where they can have the greatest impact on public safety.

PRIORITIZE DANGEROUS FUGITIVES

Individuals wanted for violent crimes and other serious offenses must be a priority. My administration will strengthen efforts to locate and apprehend dangerous fugitives by using intelligence, technology, interagency partnerships, and focused enforcement.

ADDRESS THE WARRANT BACKLOG

An excessive warrant backlog creates public-safety concerns and places unnecessary pressure on deputies and the court system.

I will order a comprehensive review of outstanding warrants to ensure records are accurate, properly prioritized, and handled in accordance with Georgia law and applicable court orders.

Our focus will be clear: identify dangerous offenders, improve warrant management, and make the system more efficient.

MODERNIZE WARRANT OPERATIONS

Today’s Sheriff’s Office must use today’s technology.

My administration will pursue improved data systems, information sharing, analytics, and coordination with local, state, and federal law-enforcement agencies to help deputies locate wanted individuals more effectively.

PROFESSIONAL CIVIL PROCESS

Serving court orders, subpoenas, writs, evictions, and other legal documents is an important responsibility of the Sheriff’s Office.

Citizens, businesses, attorneys, and the courts deserve a Civil Division that operates professionally, respectfully, and efficiently.

My administration will establish measurable standards for service, accountability, case tracking, and communication.

ACCOUNTABILITY YOU CAN MEASURE

Leadership requires more than promises.

I will establish performance measures that allow the Sheriff’s Office to track progress in areas such as warrant service, violent-fugitive apprehension, civil-process efficiency, and outstanding caseloads.

The people of Clayton County deserve to know that their Sheriff’s Office is producing results.
